Twins from the PlasticWorks series has been accepted for the “Speaking of Solitude” exhibition, scheduled for September 4 – October 3, 2010. The show is curated by Maria Medua, Director San Francisco Museum of Modern Art (SFMOMA) Rental Gallery

Mickelson was selected to be a finalist in the online Art Scene Today Juried Exhibition. Yippee-Yi was the submitted artwork.

The piece entitled TWINS (diptych) received Honorable Mention in the
Art Interview - 16th International Online Artist Competition.
As a winner of the Honorable Mention the work will be exhibited at the Third Annual Art Interview Biennale in Berlin, summer of 2010.

New solo exhibition is scheduled for April-May at http://www.yourmusegallery.com in San Francisco. There will also be a rare performance of Mickelson's alternative rock band FAT OPIE.

Juror, Steven Zevitas (publisher of New American Paintings) has selected the work to be included in the 2010 Spring edition of Studio Visit Magazine. Over 900 artists entered the competition and 300 were selected.
